Favorite Quotes and Thoughts
from Al Gore
-
No matter how hard the loss, defeat might serve as well as victory
to shake the soul and let the glory out.
-
There are many who still do not believe that global warming is a
problem at all. And it's no wonder; because they are the targets of
a massive and well-organized campaign of disinformation lavishly
funded by polluters who are determined to prevent any action to
reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming out of
a fear that their profits might be affected if they had to stop
dumping so much pollution into the atmosphere.
-
A
president who breaks the law is a threat to the very structure of
our government.
-
Our democracy, our constitutional framework is really a kind of
software for harnessing the creativity and political imagination for
all of our people. The American democratic system was an early
political version of Napster.
-
When you have the facts on your side, argue the facts. When you have
the law on your side, argue the law. When you have neither, holler.
